Year 9 Photo Competition Results 2009

 

The Year 9 photographic competition attracted over 200 entries from over 50 girls in the year group.

Entries for the competition had to be taken during the Year 9 Chateau Trip in October 2009

The competition was judged in three categories:

The standard of entries was very high in all categories of the competition.

Prizes were awarded for 1st and 2nd in each category with additional prizes for the best technical images.



Remembering the Past

1st prize - Poppy McAlister    "The Graves"

2nd prize - Bethan Pitts     "Name after Name"




Judge's Comment: This photograph links the living and the dead in simple but very effective image.


Best technical - Natalie Sirs     "Sunlight"
